Have Cell Phone Etiquette
Have Cell Phone Etiquette

We all want to have good manners but sometimes we don't realize are manners are bad when we answer our cell phones. Check over this list to make sure you have great cell phone etiquette.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Whenever you go to a movie, a concert, a meeting, make sure your cell phone ringer is off.

  2. Step 2

When with friends or in a group, ask if it's alright if you make a phone call.

  3. Step 3

Don't answer the phone when you are visiting with friends, it makes them feel unimportant because it seems you would rather answer the phone than be there with them. There is nothing ruder than someone cutting you off while they answer the phone.

  4. Step 4

When you have to answer the phone, and you are with a group of people, answer it as you walk away from the group. Tell the person on the phone to hold for a moment as you find a place to talk without disturbing other people.

  5. Step 5

Be mindful as you talk on the phone that you are probably talking loud and it is rude to make others listen to your conversation. This is very common while people are waiting in line to expose other people in line to their conversation. Believe me everyone is rolling their eyes as you tell your girl friend that your co worker is a jerk.
