      Call the Tampa Housing Authority to be added to their Section 8 waiting list. Their customer service number is 813-253-0551, extension 200.

      Provide the following information: (1) Head of household, date of birth, Social Security number, address and phone number; (2) others living in the household, their birth dates, their Social Security numbers and their relationship to the head of household; and (3) any information about someone who is disabled in the household.

      Supply income information. List all sources of income for the head of household as well as other members of the household. You will be required to provide proof of all income, as well.

      Wait on the Tampa Housing Authority waiting list. You will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis. You can call the customer service number listed in Step 1 to see if you are still on the waiting list, but you cannot obtain selection information.
