Instructions

    • 1

Measure the area where the wall-mounted pot rack will hang.

    • 2

Cut five bamboo pieces the width of this intended area and cut another five stalks the height of the area.

    • 3

Lay the cut bamboo pieces out in a grid pattern, making sure the second and fourth vertical bamboo sections are at least 16 inches apart. Note this 16-inch divide will be where wire loops for hanging the wall-mounted pot rack are positioned because standard wall stud placement is 16 inches apart.

    • 4

Begin with the center bamboo piece on the grid and dab hot glue wherever the pieces meet. Do one entire length of the wall mounted pot rack at a time and then press pieces together.

    • 5

Use the needle-nose cutters to cut 25 pieces of wire 12 inches long. Cut an additional two pieces (for the hanging loops) this same 12-inch length.

    • 6

Wrap the wire (or twine, if preferred) around each bamboo joint, beginning from the front side of the joint. Make an "X" shape and then coil the wire (or twine) around the top and sides of the joint. Tighten in back of the pot rack using the pliers. Tuck in the wire ends.

    • 7

Make the two wire loops for hanging the rack. Fold the first piece of 12-inch length of wire in half. Clamp both open ends firmly in the teeth of your pliers, then start twisting the wire with your other hand until a 1-inch loop remains at the other end. Make the other hanging wire loop in the same way. Attach both loops to the #2 and #4 joints at the top of the rack.

    • 8

Scatter "S" hooks along the rack to hang pots.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you can't find natural bamboo for the wall mounted pot rack and despise the green, spray paint it (after assembly) to match your decor.

  • Safety goggles are a must while working with wire.

  • Work gloves will help protect your hands from sharp ends.
