  • 2 tsp. dried hawthorn flowers
  • 2 tsp. dried yarrow flowers
  • ginkgo tablets
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

  1. Step 1

    To make your heart muscle stronger you can make a tea by boiling 1 cup of water, and pouring it over 2 tsp. of dried hawthorn flowers. Let the tea seep for at least 10 minutes, then you will strain and drink. Drinking 1 cup of tea twice a day is recommended to help with high blood pressure.

    To increase your circulation you can make a tea by boiling 1 cup of water, and pouring it over 2 tsp. of dried yarrow flowers. Let the tea seep for at least 10 minutes, then you will strain and drink. Drinking 1 cup of tea three times a day is recommended to help with high blood pressure.

  3. Step 3

    To take an herbal approach in lowering your blood pressure, you can consider ginkgo tablets which can be found in your local health food store. It is recommended to take the tablets twice a day for 2-3 months at a time.
    You can also try ginger to help with high blood pressure by grating 1/4 of ginger into your meals daily.
