How to Make a Ribbon Wand Cat Toy

Here's a quick and easy idea for a great cat toy! These ribbon wands are very easy to create and make great gifts for your furry feline friends!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• strong permanent glue (like Fabri-Tac)
• strips of ribbon (about 2.5 feet long each)
• extra strip of ribbon
• dowel rod

1. 

   Stick 1.5" of ribbon onto the end of the dowel with some glue, one at a time.

2. 

   Wrap an extra piece of ribbon around the glued ends a few times and then glue it.

3. 

   Let it dry. Then enjoy hours of playtime with your cat and/or kitten! A great gift for any pet lover!

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure you're nearby when your kitty cat plays with the ribbon wand. In case a piece of ribbon were to come off, it could be hazardous if he/she swallowed it.
