1. To access the cheat menu in The Sims 2 press CTRL + SHIFT + "c"

2. Once the menu appears type the word Kaching and you will get 1,000 simoleans -or- type the word Motherlode and you will get 50,000 simoleans.

3. Press Enter to activate the cheat.
