Just like any high quality cosmetic line, Bare Escentuals provides a wide range of products geared to meeting the wants and needs of its customer base. One of the prestigious company’s best and most well respected products is its concealer that's called Bisque. However, Bisque isn’t just a top-notch concealer. It is much more than that. Bisque can, in fact, be used a number of different ways.

From Quick Guide: Bare Minerals Makeup
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Prepare the skin for Bisque application. Thoroughly cleanse the skin. Rinse and pat the skin dry with a soft towel. Apply a regular skin care regimen. Allow the products to absorb before applying any Bare Escentual’s product.

  2. Step 2

Choose the Bisque color that most closely matches the skin color on which it will be used. Bisque comes in several shades: Regular Bisque, Summer Bisque, Honey Bisque, Dark Bisque, and Deep Bisque. Most Caucasian skin that is fair to light in color is best suited for regular Bisque. Individuals with medium Caucasian skin may choose Regular or Honey Bisque. Skin that is tan goes best with Summer Bisque. Most women of color will choose either Deep or Dark Bisque.

  3. Step 3

Apply Bisque as a base for concealer for hard to cover blemishes and dark skin pigmentations. Dip a concealer brush into the product and tap off the excess. Dab Bisque onto any rough spots or areas that require concealing.

  4. Step 4

Use Bisque as a post-concealer after the application of Bare Minerals. Use it once for lighter blemishes that do not require heavy concealment or use as an additional layer for hard to cover spots. The product is also useful in helping to disguise some fine lines and wrinkles.

  5. Step 5

Apply Bisque to cover dark under eye circles using the dip, tap and dab technique. Bisque will bring light to the area while it covers the discoloration and contradicts any undesired darkness.

  6. Step 6

Use Bisque to even out skin tone. Swirl a large powder brush into the product, making sure that the product is absorbed into the brush. Tap off any excess into the product’s lid. Apply Bisque all over the face until the skin is a clean, even canvas ready for make-up application.

  7. Step 7

Swirl an eye shadow brush into the product. Brush it lightly over the eyelid for the perfect shadow base. Brush from the eyelashes up to the brow bone.

  8. Step 8

Apply Bisque as a foundation for pale to fair skin complexions. Use the same swirl, tap, and buff technique used to apply Bare Minerals.

  9. Step 9

Add Bisque to any Bare Minerals foundation shade to make a customized face color. Be sure to blend thoroughly before application.

  10. Step 10

Mix Bisque with Bare Escentuals eye shadows or blushes to create new colors and shades. Mix a little bit at a time until the achieved color is achieved.
