Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Reprogramming software
- Computer interface device

Step 1
Install the reprogramming software provided by the parts manufacturer onto the computer and connect the computer interface device. Plug the other end of the interface device in the OBD II diagnostic connector under the steering wheel.

Step 2
Turn the key to on without starting the engine of the Mitsubishi 3000GT and shut of any accessories such as the radio, climate controls and lights. Turn the interface device on and wait for the computer to confirm automatic connection.

Step 3
Run the computer software and enter all of the necessary information pertaining to your vehicle including the vehicle identification number or VIN, found by looking at the top of the driver's side dash through the windshield.

Step 4
Select the software version to upload and make any changes desired. Start the data upload and verify the progress bar appears on the monitor. Wait until the data transfer complete message appears. This process takes as long as 45 minutes depending on the size of the file.

Step 5
Turn the to off and disconnect the interface kit from the OBD II diagnostic connector. Start the engine and allow it to idle until it reaches normal operating temperature.
