How to use your iPhone - Tips - Use Safari while on the Phone

One minor annoyance with the iPhone is not being able to use the internet while on the phone. You can however use the internet while on the phone if u have a Wi-Fi connection. Here is how you can do it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• iPhone
• Wi-FI connection

1.

   Make sure u have a Wi-Fi connection. Look for the icon shown in the pic.

2.

   Be on the phone.

   While on the call, push the Home button, the only button on the front of the iPhone, at the bottom center.

4.

   Pick whatever internet enabled app that you want while still talking.

5.

   To go back to the phone call screen tap the top of the screen.

• You must have Wi-Fi access to do this
• This will not work without Wi-Fi access

on 9/28/2008 I find it useful lots of times just being at home. You can be talking about something and want to know the answer, hmmm what day was that Sabres game?, and go check and grab the answer while u need it.
