Properly applied false eyelashes blend right in with natural eyelashes.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather all material needed and place everything on a clean surface. Use a magnifying mirror and make sure it's clean so that you can see properly. Ensure the area you will be working has bright light so you can clearly see as you apply the eyelashes. Remove all eye makeup using eye makeup remover. Wash your face with facial cleanser to remove all traces of dirt, oil and makeup so you have a clean surface to work with to help with false eyelash adhesion.

    • 2

Lay out the false eyelashes you will be using on a white tissue to make them easier to see. Trim some of the eyelashes with small scissors so that they're of different lengths suitable for the various areas of your eyelashes. For example, you'll need shorter lashes for the areas closest to the corner of your eye and longer on the outside to create a more natural look.

Visually inspect each lash to make sure the lashes are connected to the base which is the section that will hold the lashes in place.

    • 3

Hold one lash with a pair of tweezers, grabbing the lash just above the base. Use eyelash glue to apply a small drop of the adhesive to the base of the eyelash. Then, use a toothpick to distribute the glue evenly across the base.

    • 4

Hold open the eye you are working on with one hand and position the eyelash with the other which is holding the tweezers. Apply the individual lashes to sparse areas of your eyelashes. After getting each lash in place using the tweezers, use your finger or a cotton swab to gently press the base with glue to your eyelid. Get as close to the edge of your eyelid as possible, using your natural lash line as a guide.

Repeat the process until you have achieved the look you desire.

    • 5

Allow the eyelash glue to dry for all applied lashes. Use eyeliner to draw a line across the eyelid to further mask the false eyelashes and to create an effect where the false eyelashes blend in with your natural lashes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Depending on humidity, the eyelash glue may take varying amounts of time to fully dry. Be sure to plan accordingly.

  • Use caution when applying lashes so as not to poke yourself or get eyelash glue in your eye.
