How to Transfer pictures from your camera to your computer

You will learn how to take pictures off of your digital camera and put them on your computer.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• A digital Camera
• An USB cord
• A computer

1. Turn the Camera On

2. 
    
   The plug should fit snug

   Plug the small End of the USB cord into the USB port of the camera

3. 
    
   It will look something like this

   Now plug the Big end of the USB card into the computer USB port

4. 
    
   It will bring up something looking like this

   Now go to the start menu and click on My computer.

5. 
    

   Now click on your camera's name or something called removable disk. Now a Screen with all your pictures will open up.

6. 
    
   If you want to keep the pictures on the card select copy

   Highlight the pictures u and to remove from the card. Right click and select cut.

7. Open the folder where you would like to put the pictures in.

8. 
    

   Now in the folder right click and select paste.

9. Now your pictures are on your computer

Tips & Warnings

• If you want to keep the pictures select cut instead of copy.
• If you want to free up space on your memory card you can delete the pictures after you transfer them
• Before you delete your pictures make sure the pictures are on the computer
