Things You'll Need:
- Liquid calcium
- Multi vitamin

Step 1
Purchase a liquid calcium supplement rather than a pill. The body always digests liquids more effectively than solids. This will help for absorption.

Step 2
Pour half of your calcium supplement into a glass. Calcium is better absorbed when one takes it in smaller doses throughout the day.

Step 3
Take a vitamin containing magnesium, vitamin E, C, A, and D. These can be found in a regular multi vitamin. The added vitamins help absorb the calcium supplement. Once you have taken the multi vitamin, take the smaller portion of the calcium. This should be done in the morning.

Step 4
Take the second half of your calcium supplement right before bed. The body absorbs more calcium while you sleep.
