    • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
    • 1/2 cup olive oil
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • ¼ cup of lanolin
    • Choice of essential oils
    • Few used/new cream jars

        Begin with by blending this basic cold cream recipe using all the above ingredients and gradually add different scented essential oils. Blend in fragrances such as sweet almond or sweet pea for a pleasant aroma. Use two to three different cream jars until you get the consistency you are working for.

        Add a teaspoon of glycerin or lemon juice if the mixture is too thick. Add a small teaspoon of beeswax or honey if the mixture is too runny, until you have a creamy consistency. Use a preservative such as crushed grape seed extract as a preservative in the cream.

        To make a substitute recipe for your second cream jar, try blending 1 egg, 1 tbsp. of honey, 1 tbsp. of glycerin, 2 tbsp. of comfrey root (dried) and 1 tbsp. of sweet almond oil. Mix the combination well.
