How to Wash Car Oil off a Car

• Old rags or towels
• Car soap
• Car wash mitt

Instructions

1. Wipe off as much of the car oil as you can using a soft rag. The quicker you wipe the oil from your car, the less damage there will be.

2. Rinse the area with the hose to remove any remaining oil. Do not allow the oil to sit on your car for too long, as it can damage your paint job.

3. Dampen your car wash mitt and apply car soap to it. Rub the mitt gently over the oiled spot to coat it well with soap.

4. Rinse the soapy area with plenty of water to remove any traces of oil. Rewash the area if necessary to get it thoroughly clean.

5. Apply a coating of wax to your car, allowing it to dry thoroughly. The wax will coat and protect your car against further damage.
