How to Throw a My Little Pony Birthday Party

My Little Pony is the sweet little pony toy introduced by Hasbro in the early 80s. The toy inspires imagination and makes a My Little Pony party a favorite for young children.

Things You'll Need

• Decorations
• Face paints
• Party favors

Instructions

1. Cut horseshoe shapes out of thin cardboard (such as a file folder) or make cards and draw rainbows, stars and hearts on them. Use glitter pens and invite guests to "Gallop over for a My Little Pony Party." Encourage them to bring their favorite My Little Pony along if they have one.

2. Decorate for the party using lavender, pink and silver balloons and streamers. Put a few My Little Pony toys on the party table, and sprinkle confetti stars and hearts around them for a centerpiece.

3. Set up a face-painting table to paint simple rainbow, heart, star and moon shapes on your guests' faces using glitter face paint.

4. Have guests decorate shoe boxes that have been covered in light pink or lavender construction paper. They can use stickers, markers and confetti to make a Pony Palace for their My Little Pony. Then have them decorate white paper bags that can be used as treat bags when the guests leave. 5. Offer up My Little Pony treats, horsetrail mix (raisins, nuts, pretzels, dried fruit), carrots, sugar cookies cut in star and heart shapes, corn on the cob and pony burgers (mini hamburgers). Serve a pink and lavender sheet cake decorated with sprinkles and place a My Little Pony in the center for decoration. Put candy flowers around the edges.

6. Let your guests gallop off with treat bags. Fill the bags with My Little Pony charm bracelets, party favors, My Little Pony toys, stickers and candy -- a sweet way to end a fun-filled day!
