How to Erase a Contact on a Verizon LG Phone

If you find your contact list is getting too crowded in your Verizon LG cellphone, it’s a good idea to erase some of the ones you no longer use. This will save time when you’re scrolling through your list of contacts to select someone to call. It’s also a good idea to erase someone who you no longer wish to have contact with (like an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend, for example) to prevent calling temptation.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a Verizon LG cellphone
  1. Step 1

    Open the phone and click the Menu button.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Contact List."

  3. Step 3

    Select the contact you wish to delete.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Options."

  5. Step 5

    Click "Erase."

  6. Step 6

    Click "Yes" when prompted to Erase Entry.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure you absolutely want to erase the contact because you will not be able to retrieve it from your phone.
