How to Make a Google Account
Google is more than just the most used search engine. Did you know you could create a Google account? Once you do, you will be able to personalize pages, receive suggestions and even obtain more applicable search outcomes. There is no cost involved.

Go online to Google’s home page (see Resources below). Click on the “Sign in” link in the upper right corner of the page. This opens the Google Accounts sign in page. Click on the link located under the sign in box titled “Create an account now.”

Fill in the required details for your Google Account. Type in your email address and password (twice). The default setting for Location is United States, but you can change it by using the drop down box. Type in the “Word Verification” and read the “Terms of Service.” Click on the “I accept. Create my account” button.

Open the email sent by Google to verify your account. Click on the link in the email to complete this process. This action activates your account.

View your Google account profile. Click on the link provided on the page that opens after you verified your email address titled “Click here to manage your account profile.” This opens your Google account main page.

Make changes or adjustments to your Google account. Change the email and password by clicking on the links provided. Add additional personal information by clicking on the “Edit” link located next to “Personal information.” This also allows you to choose a time zone and add another email address. When you are finished, click on the “Save” button and then the “Back” link on the page that opens.

Add Google products (features and options) to your account. You will see a list of the Google products associated with your account on the upper right area under “My Products.” Make changes to them by selecting the “Edit” link. Add more features and options by choosing them from the list provided under “Try something new.” Click on any link to learn more about it. Select the “More>>” link to see a complete listing of all Google products offered.
