How to turn on your keyboard setting for typing in Chinese.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Click on Start

  2. Step 2

    Click on Control Panel

  3. Step 3

    Click on Regional and Language Options

  4. Step 4

    Click on the Keyboard and Languages tab

  5. Step 5

    Click Change Keyboards under the General tab click add

  6. Step 6

    Double click on Chinese and then double click on keyboard, check the version you would like

  7. Step 7

    Click ok, and an icon should appear to the left of the icon bar in the lower right hand corner, click on it and click Chinese to turn it on, hit shift to switch back to English. Type in Pinyin and it will transfer it to characters.
