  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch

  • 3 tbsp. chili powder

      Add 1 tbsp. cornstarch to 1 cup beef broth and whisk until well blended. The cornstarch will dissolve easier if the broth is room temperature or slightly chilled.

      Pour the broth mixture into a large saucepan. Add a 6 oz. can of tomato paste, 2 tbsp. chili powder and 1 tbsp. cumin. Whisk the mixture over medium-low heat until the tomato paste is dissolved.
