To check the billing status of your AARP Auto Insurance make a toll free phone call to AARP. If you don't have your policy or billing ID number, you can bypass the automatic system, and speak to a customer service representative. You will need to provide your last name, zip code and phone number.

      Call the toll free number 1-888-808-5254.

      Make your selection. Choose "2 for questions on your current policy.

      Choose "1" for questions on your account.

      Say "Hear account status".

    • 5

      Provide billing identification number or policy number. Say "I don't have that information", and wait to be transferred to a customer service personons.

    • 6

      Give the rep your name, zip code and phone number, if you don't have your policy or billing ID number. The rep will look up your account, and answer any questions you may have about your billing status.

  • On Step 5, if you choose to enter your policy number, they may not recognize what you are saying, and the experience will be frustrating, causing you to repeat the numbers over and over again.
