Step 1
Recruit friends to play with you. Ask neighbors, friends or coworkers to join you for a game. Even if you're only able to find one person, that's enough to form a team with one player on each side. One player pitches while the other bats.
-
Step 2
Pick a captain for each side if there are more than two players. The captains have the role of assigning teams. Try to have the same number of people on each side so it's fair. The maximum number to play should be 10, with five players on each side.
-
Step 3
Secure a Wiffle ball and bat. Make sure the bat is plastic, otherwise you run the risk of a wood or metal bat breaking the Wiffle ball.
-
Step 4
Review the Wiffle ball rules. Although the game is comparable to baseball, some rules are different. For example, there are no base runners. There are areas of the field designated for singles, doubles, triples and home runs. Make sure everyone knows where those markers are before the game begins.
-
Step 5
Assign someone to keep score. With imaginary base runners, it can be difficult to remember which base has a runner on it.
