Instructions

    • 1

Draw the basic face shape of Cosmo and Wanda lightly in graphite pencil. This is composed of a diagonal line, a round line, and a round guideline running down the middle. Draw the basic body shape, which is made of straight lines with a curved line in the middle. Draw an ear on only one side of the head.

    • 2

Draw in the eyes. Cosmo's eyes are circles, and Wanda's are ellipses. Also draw in the eyeballs and pupils, nose, hair and arms.

    • 3

Draw the basic shape of the mouth. Then, add in the eyebrows. Cosmo's eyebrows are rectangular, and Wanda's are a curved shape. Add the stick portion of the Fairly Odd Parents' wands and the basic shape of the hands.

    • 4

Draw the crowns. These should be floating just slightly above the Fairly Odd Parents' heads. Draw in a five-pointed star at the top of each wand. Add the teeth, which should be made up entirely of straight lines. Draw Cosmo's tie, which should be drawn straight down the middle of his shirt. Draw Wanda's eyelashes, lips and earring. Wanda should have two wings, and Cosmo should have one. Draw the detail of the hands.

    • 5

Outline the entire drawing in fine point black permanent marker. Do not draw any line which will not be part of the finished drawing, such as the guidelines, the inner portions of the stars, and the part of the shape of the head which is hidden by hair. Wait for the ink to dry completely.

    • 6

Carefully erase the pencil lines from your drawing. Color in your drawing of Cosmo and Wanda with colored pencils. Wanda's shirt, star and crown should be yellow, as should Cosmo's star and crown. Draw Wanda's hair and eyes pink or red. Draw Cosmo's hair and eyes green. Use a flesh-colored pencil for the skin and red for the inside of the mouth. Color the pants and tie black either with pencil or with black marker.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a ruler to create straight lines in your drawing for better accuracy.

  • Draw the initial lines very lightly so that you can easily erase them later.
