Reese Witherspoon is a petite starlet and award-winning actress who is famous for her demure appearance and elegant approach to beauty. Try achieving her classic, healthy look with these tips.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Reliable sunscreen and wide brim hat for sun protection
  • Consistent skin care regimen
  • Realistic hair cut and style for your hair texture
  • Small amount of soft mineral makeup
  • Headbands, hats and sunglasses
  1. Step 1

Begin your Reese transformation by protecting your skin at all costs. Although the majority of her peers are baking in the sun, Reese has embraced her porcelain skin tone by applying sunscreen every day and shading the sun with large hats at the beach.

  2. Step 2

Fight the signs of aging with a proper skincare routine. Even though she is a mother of two, Reese has a youthful look because of a consistent, regular skincare routine using Avon products (she is their spokesperson, after all). Try visiting a dermatologist for a personal recommendation, or call your own Avon representative to use similar products to Reese (see Resources below).

  3. Step 3

Stop working against your hair and start working with it. Reese naturally has fine and thin hair which looks best in cropped, straight or “piecy” styles. Try embracing your personal hair texture, color and thickness with a style that is both simple and easy to prepare in the morning.

  4. Step 4

Go easy on the makeup at all times. Although Reese knows how to dress up for a formal affair, she keeps her face simple on casual days and is very rarely seen with large amounts of makeup. Wearing too much heavy makeup can have an aging effect, so try keeping your look youthful and dewy like Reese with a tinted moisturizer or mineral foundation, protective lip balm and a wide pair of sunglasses.

  5. Step 5

Use accessories to your advantage. Although it’s hard to imagine Reese ever having a “bad beauty day”, she is often seen sporting cute bucket hats, sleek bandanas or dainty headbands to conceal less-than-perfect hair. Try letting accessories do the work for you when it comes to beauty, so that you can spend less time in the bathroom and more time looking stunning.
