2. ConsumerSearch is an excellent resource that basically 'reviews the reviews'. In fact, I think it is, hands down, the best what-and-where-to-buy site out there. They cull through articles from Consumer Reports, industry magazines, professional journals, news media, and a host of other sources. Then they summarize the reviews in an easy to understand way, and identify the options that are the most highly recommended by the most reviewers.
3. When this eHow was written, ConsumerSearch gave top ranks to three plasma televisions by Pioneer (Kuro), Samsung and Panasonic (Viera).
   
   These rankings will change over time, as new items are introduced. And of course, other TV's may make more sense for your particular needs.
