How to Say Yes Creatively

1. Evaluate your own creativity and personality. It’s important to use your values, interest and skills whenever you’re trying to show people who you are. 2. Purchase cards or little trinkets that you can give to reinforce your decisions. People will remember when you tell them yes, but they will remember what kind of person you are when you include something to remember you by.

3. Consider the shape your yes will take. Anyone can type a simple yes into an e-mail. It takes a creative person to sing it into a voice mail. Maybe your recipient will respond favorably to having a cake delivered that features a chocolate-frosted Y-E-S.

4. Ring in your new direction with a party in honor of your yes. Perhaps this yes is a big one when it comes to the direction of your life or business. Give everyone involved a party favor that will allow them to keep the important juncture fresh in their mind, ensuring continued success.

5. Present the person with a large banner that says yes. Buy a large rolled paper and some markers. Color the yes in giant letters and present it to the person you're saying yes to.

6. Say yes with skywriting. Hire a local airplane company to blow the letters Y-E-S in smoke in the air. Have the person you're answering stand outside and watch as your answer is presented.
