Things You'll Need

• Bucket of hot soapy water
• Sponge
• Car vacuum cleaner
• Baking soda
• Febreze
• Carpet freshener

Instructions

1. Using the sponge and bucket of hot soapy water, clean the area thoroughly. Pay close attention to the hard to reach areas where the vomit may have settled. Allow enough time for the area to dry before proceeding to the next step.

2. Sprinkle the area with a liberal amount of baking soda and allow it to sit for 24 hours. This will give the baking soda time to absorb the odor. Vacuum the area thoroughly, paying close attention to crevices.

3. Sprinkle the area with carpet freshener and let it sit for a couple of hours. Vacuum the area thoroughly, paying close attention to crevices.

4. Spray the area with Febreze or any other type of fabric neutralizer you may have.
