How to Play the Water Balloon Toss Game

Organizing a summertime Water Balloon Toss Game is fun and easy and the kids really have a blast getting (or trying not to get) WET!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• A bag of small water balloons
• Or use regular sized balloons
• A Funnel
• Access to Water
• 2 or More players

1. WATER BALLOON TOSS
   
   
   OBJECTIVE: Try to catch water balloons! With each successful catch move further and further apart.

2. NEEDED: Water Balloons.
   
   PLAYERS: 2 or more players. The more the merrier with this game!

3. 
    

   RULES: Pair off players into groups of two and have them face their partner about 3 feet apart.

4. Begin tossing balloons to each other. Every time the balloon is caught the player that caught the balloon takes a step back. Eventually someone is going to get wet!

5. WINNING: You win by being the furthest apart while still successfully catching the water balloon.

6. 
    

   Varying the rules to include groups of three or more players and throwing the water balloon "hot potato" style amps up the fun and the possibilities of getting soaked in the process.

7. Getting a large group of players together with everyone holding a balloon and try to toss around the balloons with the object of trying to keep as many balloons as possible in motion without dropping them is lots of fun and it is a definite that players will get wet. This is a fun way to get a couple of groups of teenagers active in a competitive game.

Tips & Warnings

• For easy cleanup of balloon pieces, give each child a bag or bucket and give out prizes for the most single pieces of balloon pieces collected!
• Be sure have towels ready and supervise the fun as sometimes kids can get a bit rowdy when it comes to water balloons!
