Here are some ways to watch High Definition movies without having to buy a HD or Blu-ray

Step 1

One way is through an X-Box live account. If you have one, you are able to purchase an HD movie and watch it on your television. You don't need a player because it comes directly from the hard drive.
Step 2

Apple TV is another way as well. Once you purchase the component, you can buy HD movies and have them stream onto your television.
Step 3

If you have Vista or XP you can use the media center on your X-Box to watch any movie or clip that you have saved on the computer. It must be the right format though.
Step 4

Another good idea is if you television is compatible with your computer, see what type of cord you need, purchase it, and use your television as a monitor. That way whatever is being played on your computer will also be able to play on your television.
