How to Apply Cat Eye Makeup

The eyes are the center of the look, so all other makeup should be minimal. Follow these easy steps to get the look popularized by fashion forward starlets.

Things You'll Need

• Under-eye concealer
• Black eyeliner pencil
• Black liquid liner
• Eye shadow brush
• Dark iridescent eye shadow
• Highlight shimmer
• Black mascara

Instructions

1. Apply under-eye concealer. The smoky eye look relies on flawless skin, so if you have any blemishes or uneven coloration apply concealer and foundation.

2. Apply black eyeliner pencil on your eyelids. Draw a smudgy line from the corner of your eyelid to the end of your lash line.

3. Apply dark eye shadow above your eyeliner with an eye shadow brush. Blend the eye shadow with the eyeliner.

4. Apply black liquid liner on your upper eyelid. The line should start thin on the inner corner and get thicker as it gets towards the lash line.

5. Blend another coat of eye shadow.
