Things You'll Need:
- Computer with Internet connection
- Web browser
- ITunes version 7.7 or higher
- Apple iPhone

Step 1
Launch your web browser and go to the iTunes website. Click on the “Download iTunes” button.

Verify that the version of iTunes scheduled to download is compatible with your operating system. Click on the “Download iTunes Free” button.

Follow the onscreen steps to download and install the newest version of iTunes.

Connect your Apple iPhone to your computer after you have completely installed iTunes. You will be prompted to approve the download of the iPhone version 2.0 software to your phone. After you approve the request, it will take some time to download the software so make sure that you have plenty of time to complete the upgrade.

Disconnect your iPhone from the iTunes program after the upgrade has been completed. You will now see a blue icon entitled “App Store.” Press this icon to go to the Apple iPhone application store.

Browse through the many programs available. You can browse by Featured Applications, Categories and Top 25 or use the Search feature.

Click on the application that you would like to download. Some applications are available for free and others will require a fee. The App Store is managed through your iTunes account. If you have an iTunes Gift Card or credit card associated with your iTunes account, you can download the applications immediately.
