How to Buy an Outback Steakhouse Franchise

Outback Steakhouse is an Australian-themed restaurant with locations all over the world. Although it is not offering franchise opportunities within the United States, the company is looking for owner-operators to open stores overseas.

      Decide if you want to relocate to another country. Opportunities are available in Chile, Egypt, Southern China, Spain, Russia, India, France, Germany and Portugal.

      Perfect your resume. You should include all relevant restaurant or hospitality experience. Outback looks for experience in full-service dining, general business, marketing and running multiple restaurants.

      Prepare your personal financial statements. You'll need these to prove your net worth and confirm your liquid assets for the company.

      Fill out the online form at the Outback Steakhouse website to see if you have the preliminary qualifications for franchise ownership. Submit the form to the franchise executive committee when you're done. Someone will contact you if you meet the committee's criteria.
