How to Play Lasso Golf

While Lasso golf involves using golf balls that are connected by rope, it is perhaps the farthest thing from a real golf game. Lasso golf is more similar to a game of lawn darts or horse shoes. Here's how to play this fun game.

Things You'll Need

• Lasso golf ladders
• Lasso golf balls
• Level playing surface

Instructions

1. Place the lasso golf ladders on level ground. Leave a space of approximately 20 feet between the ladders. Gather all players on one end of the lasso golf playing field.

2. Stand just in front of one ladder. Toss your first set of balls towards the second ladder, aiming for the rungs. Try to get your ball to wrap around one of the rungs on the Lasso golf ladder.

3. Earn points by wrapping your balls around the ladder rungs. Give 3 points for balls on the bottom rung, 2 points for balls on the middle rung and 1 point for the top rung. Keep track of your score on a piece of paper.

4. Give the balls to a competitor. Have them stand at the opposite ladder as you did, and toss their balls at the opposing ladder. Move all players to the same side to avoid anyone being hit while the balls are in play. Calculate the score for the second player.

5. Take turns tossing the lasso golf balls for a set amount of time or until the first person reaches your predetermined point range. Choose a point range that is between 10 to 15 for beginners and increase it as you become more skilled.
