Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Grape juice
  • Vinegar
  • Certo (fruit pectin)
  • Raisins
  • Vitamin D
  • Sunshine
  • Selenium
  1. Step 1

Take one box of golden raisins and one bottle of good gin. Pour the gin over the raisins in a bowl. Cover with a towel and allow the gin to evaporate, it can take up to a week. Put the moist raisins in a covered jar and put in the refrigerator. Eat nine a day to treat arthritis pain and keep the pain away. As long as you have as many gin soaked raisins as you can keep in stock, you should be able to stay pain free from arthritis. Try to keep enough raisins and gin in stock so you never run out of them.

  2. Step 2

Use grape juice and certo (fruit pectin) to treat pain from arthritis. There are three ways you can use this home remedy. One way is to take 2 tsp. certo and mix with 3 oz. grape juice, three times a day. The second way to use this remedy is to mix 1 tbs. certo in 8 oz. grape juice, once a day. The third way to use the grape juice and certo remedy is to buy a packet of certo from the grocery store and mix it with 64 ounces of grape juice, drink six to eight glasses a day. Experiment with all three and pick one that is more convenient for you.

  3. Step 3

Mix together 1 part apple cider vinegar, 3 parts apple juice, and 5 parts grape juice. Drink a 1/2 cup daily. Grape juice and vinegar helps relieve the pain from arthritis. Some people who have had luck with this remedy say they drink it every day and it keeps the pain from arthritis away.

  4. Step 4

Drink one glass of orange juice daily to relieve pain from arthritis and to keep it away. Research suggests that by eating or drinking yellow and orange fruits and vegetables will help reduce the risk of rheumatoid arthritis.

  5. Step 5

Take 800 IU. to 1,200 IU. of Vitamin D daily. If you can handle being out in the sun for about 5 to 10 minutes a day without sunscreen, you can easily get enough Vitamin D because it comes naturally from the sun. You should consider the risk of skin cancer when being out in the sun without sunscreen. Vitamin D is essential for reducing your risk of rheumatoid arthritis.

  6. Step 6

Take a selenium supplement every day or eat foods that are rich in selenium. Foods with selenium in them include Brazil nuts, chicken liver, canned tuna, mackerel, spaghetti with meat sauce, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, chicken breast, prepared oatmeal and eggs.

  7. Step 7

Have at least six servings of produce every day. Also by substituting fish, nuts and beans for meat is a better way to reduce the risk of rheumatoid arthritis. These foods provide anti-inflammatory nutrients that not only help reduce the risk of arthritis but also help relieve joint pain.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to keep as much gin and raisins in stock as you can so you don't run out of the gin soaked raisin remedy.
  • Tomatoes and chocolate have been known to cause more pain from arthritis for more sensitive individuals. You do not have to quit eating these foods but limit them if they do trigger the pain.
  • Watch out for foods with Omega 6 fatty acids in them because they can worsen inflammation and joint pain. Omega 6 fatty acids are found in oils such as sunflower oil, corn oil and safflower oil.
  • You don't want to eat too much selenium rich foods because too much selenium can be toxic.
