Microsoft Publisher allows designers to change the color of all bullets and numbers in a list, the color of individual bullets and numbers can also be changed, either to add emphasis to a certain point or alternate colors from the chosen color scheme. After you have created a bulleted or numbered list, use the steps below to change the color of certain bullets and numbers.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Go to View and click on "Special Characters." You should see several paragraph markers at the ends of each line in the bulleted list. Paragraph markers look sort of like a backwards P.
Step2
Highlight the paragraph marker at the end of the line for which you want to change the color of the bullet or number.
Step3
Go to Format and "Font." Choose a color from the dropdown menu in the General section of the box that appears. Or choose "More Colors" to customize a color or to choose one not shown in the drop-down menu.
Step4
Click OK. Only the bullet or number for that line of the list should change color.
Step5
Repeat these steps to change the color of other specific bullets and numbers.
