How to Insert Submit and Reset Buttons to Custom Forms in Yahoo Sitebuilder

Step1
Open and run the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon in order to run the program. If you do not have a copy of this program, you can get a free copy by using the resources links below.
Step2
Open the website that you wish to add submit and reset buttons. To open a website, you will need to left-click on the “File” tab on the command bar. Scroll to “Open Site” and left-click. Locate the desired file. Click “Open.”
Step3
Open the page to which you wish to add submit and reset buttons in a form. To open the desired page, scroll to the “File” tab on the command bar and select “Open Page.” Locate the desired file. Click “Open.”
Step4
Create the custom form. You will need a form to do this. You can easily add a custom form by scrolling to the “Insert” tab on the command bar. Selecting “Forms and Forms Elements”, and then left-click on “Blank Form.” Click “Okay” to insert the form. The form will appear as a box with a dashed border. There will not be any form elements inside until you add them.
Step5
Add insert and reset buttons to the form. To add insert and reset buttons to your custom form, left-click on the form. Then, scroll to the “Insert” tab on the command bar and select “Forms and Form Elements.” A sub menu will open. Select “Reset Button” to add a reset button to the form. Select “Insert Button” to do the same. You can drag and drop both of these buttons to the desired position within the form.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always make sure that the insert and reset buttons are inside of the form table, or they will not work.
  • Always test your website by using the hotkey “F12” to see what it will look like when published, prior to actually publishing the website.
