Instructions

    • 1

All players sit around a table with their own mixed drink in front of them. A dealer is selected.

    • 2

The dealer selects a suit and begins dealing a card face up to each player until a card of that suit is dealt. For example, the dealer may select hearts, and would deal until the first heart card is revealed.

    • 3

Whichever player gets the suit that was called has to drink from their mixed drink the appropriate number of seconds associated with that card. For example, if the card was the 7 of Hearts, the drinker would have to drink for 7 seconds. Ace cards are worth 15 seconds and face cards are 10 seconds. This player must then call out a different suit before they place their glass down or they must drink from their glass the appropriate number of seconds again.

    • 4

The game continues until all players are too intoxicated to play.

    • 5

Remember, the value of the cards are ace = 15 seconds; face cards = 10 seconds and 10 through 2 cards = Face Value.

Tips & Warnings

we play this too, but we add more. So someone has 7 seconds. The people sitting around playing have to count. So player to the left says one, then the next person says 2 and so on. If the drinker finishes their drink before the last person counting, they slam the can on the table and their drinks go to whoever didn't say a number. If all the numbers are said the drinker has to call out a new suit (no repeating what was just said) BEFORE they put their can/cup/glass down. If they forget they have to start all over. If someone already has a spade in front of them (or any suit) and spades is called (or that corresponding suit) and it lands on theirs they have to drink the total of both cards together.
