How to Level Up Any Materia in Final Fantasy VII

In order to master Final Fantasy VII, its important to know how to level up materia. Materia enable you to cast magic, summon spells, equip elements or armor to your character, or add to your HP or MP. There are many different types of materia to get throughout the game and fighting enemies will level up your materia. You need to level them up in order to make some stronger, to be able to cast summons more than once, and also to enable you to do more damage to your enemies. The following steps will show you the easiest way to level up any materia.

Things You'll Need

• Weapons with Triple Growth
• Minimum of 40 elixirs

Instructions

1. Make sure you have weapons with triple materia growth.

2. Steal as many elixirs as possible from enemies that you fight. This must be done before you attempt to level up your materia. It is a good idea to have 40 elixirs at the very minimum.

3. Go left at the first junction of Northern Crater. Then, choose to go up. In this area, you will run into Magic Pots.

4. Feed each Magic Pot one elixir. This will enable you to inflict damage upon them. Otherwise, nothing you cast will hurt them.

5. Do this again and again to as many Magic Pots as you want. They will give you 1000 AP each.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are wanting to find a place where you can save easily and rest, then Mideel and the Sunken Plane are better choices. However, you will not level up nearly as fast.

• You also might run into Movers, which will also give you a signficant number of AP, 800 AP to be exact.
