      Select the start button.

      Select All Programs.

      Select Accessories.

      Select System Tools.

      Select System Restore.

      Select Restore System to an earlier time.

      Click next.

      Scroll back to the date you wish to restore to then click next.
      The computer will start to shutdown, then will restore then shut down and restart itself.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can undo the restore at the same place you select restore system.

  • You can create a new restore point at the same place you select restore system.

    No No No - there is no theory to this article. There are no warnings. For example if you restore the computer than undue the system restore too many times, the feature will freeze up and you will not be able make any more restores. This can easily occur if you are going back and forth to locate what date you want and what information you lost in transit.
