Sign up with booksalefinder.com for notification of book sales near you.

library booksaleAsk at the public library and even college libraries if they have book sales. Sign up for notification if they have that option. If not, join the Friends of the Library to be in-the-know.

When planning a vacation, check the booksalefinder.com site to see if a used book sale might fit into the plans. Click on the site map of the U.S. for the state you will visit. A list of the upcoming book sales appears.

When attending a book sale, look for a sign up sheet to put your address or email for notification of future sales. Sales that have this option usually place it near the cash out table.

Check out flea markets that deal in antiques and vintage items. Often there will be a book dealer there. The prices will be higher than at library used book sales, but worth checking for hard-to-find books.
