Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Shaver
- Shaving cream
- Tweezers
Step1
Wash your face in hot water. Hot water not only opens clogged pores and promotes healthier skin, but it softens coarse facial hair for an easier shave. You can also hold a wet, hot towel over the face for approximately a minute to achieve the same effect. Allow the skin to dry.
Step2
Spread shaving cream around your face, remembering to concentrate on the areas you wish to target. Use a shaving cream to avoid cuts and nicks. Opt for a brand that moisturizes and protects the skin from razor burn.
Step3
Select a sharp razor. Select a new razor to provide a smooth and effortless shave.
Step4
Shave with the grain of your face. Start at the top of your face, moving the razor in a downward motion until it passes your chin.
Step5
Wash the excess cream from your face. Double check for any missed spots, especially areas you may have missed under the chin or cheeks.
Step6
Use tweezers for hard to shave areas such as the eyebrows, eye lashes, nose and ears. Pluck out the hair you want to remove by gently pulling it from the skin.
Step7
Use facial wax strips to remove hair. Remove the backing of a wax strip and place it on your eyebrow, chin or other area. Pull the strip with a firm yank in the opposite direction of the hair growth pattern.
Step8
Use sensitive strength hair removal cream to remove hair from the body. Read all instructions for complete details. Most creams require a wait time of five to eight minutes. Apply thickly, and then wipe off when done.
