Log in to your Craigslist account and select "post a new ad" in the upper right hand corner.

Select the category you want to post in and then type in the price, title and location of the item.

Write your Craigslist ad in the area provided, writing everything you need to about your item, house, car, or whatever it is you want to sell.

Type in the HTML codes next to the text which requires HTML. You can use tags around the title to make it larger and bold. You can also insert tags to make new paragraphs, or create bulleted lists. Aditionally, you can insert tags around your phone number to make it larger and more visible.

Click "continue" and then check the HTML code by reviewing the ad before you submit.
