Step1

Download "Spybot" from the link provided below.

Step2

Install Spybot, and run the program.

Click on the "Search for Updates" to make sure you have the most current version. If there are updates available, follow the prompts to download ans install them.

Step4

Click the "Search and Destroy" button on the left side of the screen, and then click the "Check for Problems" button to search your hard drive for spyware. Be patient, as this may take several minutes. When it is finished, you will see a list of all the spyware on your computer. If you wish, you may de-select any programs that you want to keep.

Step5

Click the "Fix Selected Problems" button at the bottom of the screen to confirm that you wish to remove the selected spyware. Wait a few minutes while Spybot removes the spyware from your computer.

Use the "Immunize" feature to protect yourself even further.
Be aware that Spybot may not remove all of the spyware from your computer. In fact no program can guarantee total removal of spyware. Experts recommending using several such programs to get rid of as much spyware as possible.
