The Apple computer has made creating your own website easier than ever before. This article will explain how to create a simple website on a Mac using iWeb.
Choose the template you want to work with. If you do not like any of these, choose "blank." We will be working with a blank template in this article.
Step3
If the "Inspector" isn't open, open it now by clicking on the "i" on the lower right hand side. Uncheck "Display Navigation Menu" on the inspector.
Step4
Delete the single line that iWeb has automatically created on your page.
Step5
Now decide what you want on your navigation menu. Write out what you want using the text box and lay it out on your page exactly as you'd like it on the site.
Step6
Now go to the side bar. Hold down the control key and click anywhere on the side bar. Choose "New Page." Create a new page for each icon on the navigation menu.
Step7
Click each text box in the navigation menu and go to the inspector. Click on "Enable as Hyperlink." Under "Link To" select "One of My Pages" and select which page you want to be forwarded to when you click this.
Step8
Now that your navigation menu is set up, copy and paste it onto each of your pages.
Step9
Add pictures to your pages by dragging them into iWeb. Change colors using the icon on the bottom. Add music using the "media" icon. Make your page your own.
