Step 1
1. HAVE A LIFE THAT YOU ARE PROUD OF
... one that you invite others to share with you.
Be completely comfortable and content with all of your relationships.
Alpha Males are sexy because they don't depend on anyone else to tell them 'who they are'.
An Alpha Male is first a MAN. A man works hard for what he has. A man takes the lead in situations, from his career to in the dating arena. A man is responsible and accountable for all of his actions.
The Sexy Alpha Male is proud of who he is and what he does. Because of this, he is confident; and we all feel more comfortable around and attracted to those who are confident. -

2. USE YOUR MIND TO CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS
Alpha Males may be emotional, but they do not show it. They are able to control their emotions through their sense of reason and good grasp of reality.
A man who has no control of his emotions... like "anger", "anxiety", or "embarrassment"... is NOT sexy.
Take an objective view of every situation. Act as though you are a 'watcher' standing outside of yourself. When you do this, you will show that you are in control of yourself. A man who is in control of himself, and doesn't sweat the small stuff, is incredibly sexy. -

3. BUY SOME GOOD COLOGNE
I can't stress this enough, but your sexual scent is one of the most important parts of being sexy.
Try on a few different cologne, after-shave, and deodorant combos until you get one that is uniquely YOU. Watch how people respond to you when you are wearing certain fragrances.
Since a lot of women are NOT attracted to looks alone, the way you smell makes a huge difference in how sexy they find you. -

4. LET WOMEN KNOW THAT YOU ARE ATTRACTED TO THEM SEXUALLY.
This is so important if you want to stay out of the Friend Zone with a certain someone. You make women aroused when you show sexual desire and act like you want them.
But of course, you can't do this in a 'creepy' way. :-) Just be natural and have fun with it. Throw sexual innuendos into the conversation. Check out attractive women as they walk by... Have a little bit of that testosterone-driven-on-the-hunt-for-chicks vibe.

5. BE MASCULINE WITH A HINT OF SOMETHING ELSE
Think James Bond or Simon Cowell and mix it with something else. Masculine geek. Masculine violinist. Masculine playwright. Mix masculinity with something a tad softer.
People who pull this off: Will Smith, Tim McGraw, even Alex Trebek from Jeopardy has this. Try it. It will give you an air of depth... as long as you remember mostly MASCULINE + HINT of something else. -

6. STARE INTO PEOPLES' EYES
Don't hold back... especially after you say something that you really mean. Maintaining confident eye contact is a key component of attraction. Not only does the person you are speaking with feel 'heard', but you are also showing DOMINANCE. Male dominance is sexy. -

7. CHECK YOUR POSTURE
Yep, your mom and your elementary school teachers were unknowingly preparing you to be sexy in the future. :-) "Head up, shoulders back, good posture, no fidgeting." That's right. -

8. SAY WHAT YOU THINK, WANT, AND NEED
Disagree with people if necessary. Stand up for yourself. Decide that your opinions matter and then express them. Be unashamedly unpredictable. Since most people have a hard time articulating their needs and wants (and worse yet, are afraid to stand by their convictions) you become a break from the norm by speaking your mind.

9. FIND YOUR BEST QUALITY AND SHOW IT... ALL OF THE TIME
If you have strong shoulders, show them in a nicely tailored jacket. If you have a beautiful mind, talk about what you dream about. Work whatever you've got.
When you focus on the really great things about yourself, the other things fade into oblivion. You are only sexy in others' eyes if you are sexy in your own eyes first. So focus your attention on what's awesome about you, and others will pick up on it. -

10. MAKE THE DECISION TO LOVE YOURSELF
You become sexy with this one simple tip. When you love yourself first, you will be coming to people out of an overflow of joy rather than neediness.

on 7/31/2008 "Quietly Confident"? I like that. My old manager was like that and I consider him an "Alpha Male". Standing all of 5 feet 4 inches, he commanded respect... never yelled, never got overly emotional, just "quietly confident", taking the lead in most situations. He definitely has all of the qualities listed in the article.
My step dad, on the other hand, is "overtly confident"... and with good reason. He's naturally extroverted though, yet definitely an "Alpha Male".
And then, on yet another hand, there are players and dogs out there who also display these qualities... all except for one... number 10. These guys are not real "Alphas" because they don't love themselves - yet because they have the appearance of it, many women fall for them. Sad.
