Wipe all snow and moisture off your snowboard with a dry rag or T-shirt when you're through for the day.
Step2
Leave the board upright so any remaining ice or water will run off the board.
Step3
Store your board where the temperature will not dip below freezing. Leaving a board outside, on a roof rack, or in a garage can cause damage to the board's base, bindings and surface graphics.

You can buy a pen that you paint the edges with to give anti rust protection. Unlike using wax, this stuff does more than seal out air and moisture, it works actively to prevent rust.
The one I use is made by Bakoda.
Failing that, buy a Burton board with stainless steel edges!

After you go snowboarding run chapstick or lip balm around the edges of your snowboard - it seals it up and protects it from rust, and it comes off as soon as you go snowboarding the next time.
