1
Use earrings to decorate canvas tennis shoes, flip flops and even plain pumps. Clip a large earring on the front of a closed-toe shoe, on the strap of a sandal or on the back of a sneaker as a decorative touch. Push pierced earrings through the holes of lace-up shoes or through the rubber of a flip flop strap.

2
Dress up a plain purse by attaching a necklace along the strap with small stitches or by wrapping one around the handle as a glamorous touch. Attach chain bracelets to zippers as a pretty zipper pull.

3
Clip funky earnings through the open holes in a belt or wind a beaded bracelet or necklace around the leather once you've pulled it through the belt loops.

4
Turn basic unadorned hats or plain hair clips and headbands into accessories with a designer look by adding jewelry with a vintage feel. Cluster a flowered bracelet on the corner of a hatband and affix it with a safety pin or adhesive dots. Use hot glue or small stitches to adhere a string of faux pearls across a headband or hook a dangling earring through the end of a hair clip.

Update home décor by accessorizing it with unused jewelry. Add a fabric choker around the base of a chunky candle or picture frame, adorn a fabric headboard with a long chain necklace or turn earrings into cute wine glass markers, for example.
