Cooperation and a mutual mild loss of dignity will help turn four strangers into friends in this simple party game.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Stand in a circle with a group of at least four people.
Step2
Use your right hand to grab the right hand of the person directly across from you.
Step3
Use your left hand to grab the left hand of the person to the right of the person holding your other hand.
Step4
Untangle, as a group, back into one open circle, without letting go of hands or dislocating any joints.

Tips & Warnings

  • This game is a good icebreaker.
  • It helps to be double-jointed or very limber.

on 1/18/2006 The way we normally play is 3 boys and 3 girls, and girls are holding hands with boys and boys are holding hands with girls. If you are within 30 cm of each other you have to kiss (girl or boy).

on 11/22/2005 Get two boys and two girls to play and make sure they are all around the same age group. It'll be more fun playing with people you know cause you can do whatever you want without being embarrassed. Stand in a way so that a boy and girl are the only ones holding hands after following the basic rules for human knot. Before untangling yourself, put your right leg between the legs of another person and after everyone has done so, then untangle. You'll have a barrel of laughs and it'll break the ice at a dull party!
