Locate a jewelry appraiser in your area who works in-home sell your gold parties and set a date for your party. Be sure to give yourself a couple of weeks to notify friends so they can dig up all of their unwanted gold and jewelry. Not to mention get your house cleaned and ready for the party.

Call your friends, send invitations to acquaintances and let them know about your party. Tell them that they don't have to sell their jewelry if they don't want to. However, they might want to bring their old unused jewelry over and find out what it is worth.

Clean your house and have a table or countertop cleaned off for the appraiser to work at. In another room set up snacks, chairs, and puzzles, or games.

A "gold party" is the SUREST way to not only get the least amount possible for your gold, but for a pittance you are also getting your friends ripped off! You will get a percentage for luring your friends to the con artist who will pay them pennies on the dollar for their gold. These outfits are thriving right now because they capitalize on the trust your friends place in you. The idea is that if you "host" the party it must be legitimate. WRONG! If your friends find out after the fact that you set them up to be taken, you'll need to find new friends to sell out for the next party. -
