Crocheting a Pumpkin Witch Candy Dish is easy with my free pattern!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 oz orange worsted weight yarn
  • 1 oz black worsted weight yarn
  • Size H crochet hook
  1. Step 1

    Size: 4 1/2" tall
    Gauge: 2 rnds of dc=1"

    Pumpkin
    Rnd 1: With orange, make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (12 dc).

  2. Step 2

    Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).

  3. Step 3

    Rnd 3: (Work this round in back loops only!). Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, changing to black at end of stitch, with black, dc in same dc, dc in next dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) 3 times, 2 dc in next dc, changing to orange at end of last stitch, with orange, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (36 dc).

  4. Step 4

    Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, changing to black at end of last dc, with black, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, changing to orange at end of st, with orange, dc in next 9 dc, changing to black at end of st, with black, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, changing to orange in end of last st, with orange, dc in each rem dc around, join as before (36 dc).

  5. Step 5

    Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in next 7 dc, changing to black in last dc, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, changing to orange at end of stitch, with orange, dc in next 3 dc, changing to black at end of last dc, with black, dc in next dc, dc in next dc, changing to orange at end of st, with orange, dc in each rem dc around, join as before (36 dc).

  6. Step 6

    Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc dec over next 2 dc, *dc in next dc, dc dec over next 2 dc, rep from * around, join as before, fasten off (24 dc).

  7. Step 7

    Hat
    Rnd 1: With black, make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method, ch 3, 5 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (6 dc).

  8. Step 8

    Rnd 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc,* dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (9 dc).

  9. Step 9

    Rnd 3: Ch 3, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (13 dc).

  10. Step 10

    Rnd 4: Ch 3, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (19 dc).

  11. Step 11

    Rnd 5: (Work this rnd in front loops only!). Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (38 dc).

  12. Step 12

    Weave in ends.
