Spray some tea tree foot spray on your aching feet, and they'll feel better in a jiffy. Tea tree oil foot spray has antifungal qualities, so it's beneficial for athlete's foot. It's also highly antiseptic and deodorizing, and you can use it to treat insect bites, minor cuts and scrapes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup distilled water
  • 1 1/4 cup vodka
  • 10 drops tea tree oil
  • 8 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 drops lemon oil
  • 4 drops peppermint oil
  • 4 drops patchouli essential oil

Step1
Combine the distilled water, vodka, tea tree oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice and lemon oil in a plastic spray bottle.
Step2
Add the peppermint oil and patchouli essential oil.
Step3
Put the lid securely on the spray bottle and shake the contents until the ingredients are completely mixed.

Tips & Warnings

  • To use your tea tree oil foot spray, shake the bottle vigorously. Apply to clean, dry feet by holding the bottle about 3 inches from the affected area. Allow your feet to dry completely before putting on socks or shoes.
  • If you have severe athlete's foot, apply the tea tree oil directly onto the affected area, making sure to apply it to the nail beds and between the toes. For treating a large area, mix a drop or two of tea tree oil with a carrier oil, such as olive or jojoba.
